CHARLESTON, SC, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Rooter Man Plumbing, of Charleston, South Carolina, is a locally owned and operated plumbing company who services the greater Charleston area. Recently Rooter Man has expanded its in-house marketing and operations team during a period of increased demand and internal changes. This change also benefits their two affiliated businesses, High Cotton Comfort Co, and Black Dog Junk Removal, by strengthening their connection under the same ownership.
Riley Brown joined Rooter Man Plumbing on June 29, 2026, in a part-time capacity to support marketing and administrative work across all three companies. At the time, Rooter Man Plumbing was transitioning their customer relationship management systems, bringing more of their outsourced digital media back in-house, and dialing in their marketing efforts to bring in more new customers in the new landscape of AI and ranking online. These changes required significant attention from the existing team during an already busy operational period which is why Riley fit in perfectly.
As Riley learned the companies’ systems and assumed a growing range of responsibilities, she demonstrated an ability to adapt quickly and take initiative. Less than one month after she joined, Rooter Man Plumbing offered her a full-time position in July, as Marketing and Operations Coordinator.
The expanded internal capacity also helped Rooter Man Plumbing, High Cotton Comfort Co. and Black Dog Junk Removal bring management of their three company websites back in-house. Brown now focuses more heavily on social media and content creation while another member of the marketing team oversees the websites.
Brown’s responsibilities include social media management, content creation, SEO duties, and AI research. On the operations side, she supports customer communication and administrative organization, works within the companies’ internal software and workflow systems, and continues to learn Rooter Man Plumbing’s dispatching and scheduling processes. Riley will continue to further her skills and capabilities as she’s already earned multiple certifications and online courses allowing her to become more knowledgeable in digital media in multiple fast paced service businesses.
Brown grew up on James Island, South Carolina, within the Greater Charleston area served by Rooter Man Plumbing and its affiliated companies. Before joining Rooter Man Plumbing, Brown worked for a staffing company serving the construction industry. During that time, she also created social media content for a company sales representative, an experience that contributed to her growing interest in marketing which lead her to her position now.
