Layne Nunes, Chief Treasury & Network Banking Officer at Vantage Bank
Nunes joins Vantage Bank from a large regional bank in Dallas, where he served as Treasury Management Director and Executive Vice President. There, he led the Treasury Management and Specialty Deposits divisions, working closely with commercial, commercial specialty, and retail banking teams. Under his leadership over the past six years, the division grew its portfolio to more than $22 million in non-interest income, with a compounded growth rate exceeding 18 percent, on a deposit book totaling several billion dollars. He also served on the bank’s Executive Management, ALCO, and IT Steering Committees, contributed to its AI working group, and helped guide deposit strategy and rate management.

Recognized repeatedly for sales excellence, Nunes has spent his career helping businesses manage capital with confidence and plan for what’s ahead.
Vantage CEO Jeff Sinnott said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Layne to the Vantage team. His track record in treasury management speaks for itself, and his talent for helping clients manage capital smarter fits perfectly with how we serve businesses. Layne puts customers first, just like we do, and we can’t wait to build what’s next together.”
“I’m honored to join Vantage Bank and to help our clients navigate today’s financial landscape with clarity and confidence,” said Nunes. “Businesses need a partner who understands both the challenges and the opportunities in front of them. I look forward to building strong relationships and delivering solutions that support real, lasting growth.”
Nunes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and History from Houston Baptist University and is completing an MBA at Dallas Baptist University.
In his new role, Nunes will focus on strengthening treasury management services, expanding commercial banking relationships, and helping small and medium-sized businesses manage cash flow, protect capital, and plan for what’s ahead.
