LOVELAND, Colo., Oct. 6, 2026
LOVELAND, Colo., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hensel Phelps broke ground September 30 on its new corporate headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, marking a significant investment in the company’s future and its people.

The Hensel Phelps Headquarters (HPHQ) groundbreaking ceremony brought together employees, project partners and community stakeholders to celebrate the start of construction on the four-story 143,000-square-foot facility. HPHQ will be located within Avenue South at Centerra, Realberry’s mixed-use development near the intersection of Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 34. Designed by Gensler to support long-term growth and evolving operations, the headquarters will include flexible workspaces, training and collaboration environments and ground-floor retail serving employees and the surrounding community.
“As we approach our 90th anniversary in 2027, this groundbreaking marks an important moment in Hensel Phelps’ history,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Brad Jeanneret. “Our new headquarters will bring our people together in an environment designed for collaboration, innovation and well-being, creating new opportunities to empower our people and transform the industry for generations to come.”
HPHQ is designed to create a workplace that feels open, connected and welcoming from the moment people arrive. A central atrium will bring natural light deep into the building and create visual connections between floors, while mass timber will add warmth and natural character throughout the space. Work areas, training spaces, balconies and gathering areas are arranged to support both work and opportunities to come together, with views of the foothills reinforcing a connection to the surrounding landscape. These elements support employee well-being while contributing to the project’s broader sustainability goals, including the pursuit of LEED v5 Gold and WELL Platinum certifications.
“Our design for HPHQ reflects Hensel Phelps’ legacy as a builder and its forward-looking vision for the future,” said Jonas Philipsen, principal and design director in Gensler’s Denver office. “The building brings together sustainable materials, flexible workplace strategies and a strong connection to Colorado’s landscape to create a headquarters that supports people, performance and long-term growth.”
Construction is now underway. When complete, HPHQ will provide a new platform for the company’s continued growth and serve as a lasting expression of its Northern Colorado roots, its commitment to its people and its vision for the future of the industry.
